I fooled myself

So.. Last night I did my 10k for part of the virtual 10k that I was supposed to participate in today.  I knew I wasn't going to feel like it today, so I just got it out of the way.  I ran this loop at the park, and added a little extra to make it a full 10k.  I thought at the end that the beginning loop I did couldn't nearly be a half mile for the extra half that I needed.  I came home, told my friends that I ran 6 miles in 66 minutes (I had to add all the songs together in itunes!).  I went to sleep for only 7 hours.  When my dog rudely woke me up at 630 this morning, I decided to check it out on Gmap-pedometer.com.  To my surprise, the extra loop I did was .75.  So, that's on top of the extra loop at the end I did to make up for it just in case.  I ended up running 6.5 miles in 66 minutes.  I'm so tired right now from lack of sleep, but soooo on top of the world for taking it that far.  I feel absolutely fantastic.  Now, if I can just get the dog to come inside and go back to sleep just for an hour or so, I'd be even happier!

Amazing! No wonder you're tired! But at the same time - I'll bet you feel great!
