7 miles first, work second!
There's nothing like getting up in the morning, throwing on your running gear, and going to work. I do a few things at my desk first, then I walk out the door and hit the concrete running. Today was quite muggy. It was made worse by the fact that I wore a hat due to my scalps sunburn. I knew that I was running alone too, so I was taking on the Veterans Memorial Bridge again. That's a bit sunny on the way back down. All in all I had a pretty decent run. I did take a few light breaks because of the humidity and the sun. 3 other breaks were needed when some asshats decided that they wanted to drive their cars right into me. None of them hit me and they are lucky for that. I hope everyone that reads this keeps that in mind from now on. You share the road with plenty of motorists, but watch out for the bikers, runners and walkers all around you. I'm glad I survived my 7 miles this morning!

What an awesome run! Good for you! :)
It's getting worse out there!! I've almost been run over countless times ;(
Nice job on the run!
I always forget to ask you - are you training for a race?
Way to go!!
There are plenty of idiots out there. Mommy almost got hit by someone talking on his cell phone last night when she was driving to get pet foods.
Running Nan,
You have a mini mention in my blog today.
Best wishes,
Sharon
What a great run! It's great that you are able to fit it right into your work schedule. I'm a 5am or 8pm runner myself, especially with this pesky humidity.
Im not embarrassed to admit that that seems like a LOT OF MILES to this woman.
GO YOU.
and all before work?
***go you***
