Weekend

My weekend was great. Spent the whole thing with my man. Saturday I didn't cross train due to over dehydration the night before. It was quite scary to not feel like my normal self. So I took the time to relax and lay around the house. I did happen to try the new Papa Johns wheat crust. I think it's absolutely awesome. We ordered it with green peppers, banana peppers and onions. I hammered down 3 peices for dinner and the last one for a snack later on. Something with that must've worked because I had the best run by myself ever. I didn't stop until the very end when my dehydration issues began to surface. I stopped at the gas station for some water, but then I drank way too much of it which slowed me down. I did just shy of 7, but I'm calling it 7! . It is hard to find 7 miles in my city with out getting too bored. I will take the time to map out a new route for next weekend's 8 mile run. After my run we went and got massages. Wow. This girl put everyone before her to shame. She dug into my knots so well that I fell asleep and was drooling!

After our massages, we visited with my aunt and uncle for about an hour. On the way home, we stopped to the store for some groceries to make big killer salads. We had so much fun preparing them together. We were participating in our own Olympic Salad Eating Event. I finished first and all of it, but he also had a lot of cheese and olives on his. I will say that I tried olives this weekend and realized I won't be doing that again. I also found out that I do like chickpeas! We loaded up the salads in big serving bowls and sat on the couch and watch more of the Olympics.

I got a good night of sleep and I feel well rested this morning. Tonight, I'll be going to bed a bit earlier than usual. I need to make a list of everything that I need to do this week. I'm talking errands, bills, chores and yard work. I keep talking about what I need to do, but never follow through. I'm posting this list on my fridge as soon as I get home. On that note.. I think I'm done rambling. I hope everyone has a great day!

Sounds like a good weekend.

I, on the other hand, thought the wheat crust was absolutely horrible. Maybe if it was a thin crust I would like it more.

That is sooooo cute about your couple weekend. I had to totally laugh at you drooling during the massage. I am assuming that you were face down in the donut face thing at that point.. happens to be every time too... and the snots start up too.
I LOVE that new whole wheat crust. I havent had it in a couple months but I remember it being really filling and hearty! I would definitely say no to olives too. Gross.

Pizza makes you run faster? I am so loading up on that good stuff. I love pizza and if I can find a way to fit it into my life more, I will try it!

What a great run! I'm telling you, every time I have pizza for dinner, my runs the next day are off the charts- it's so weird, and never fails.

Sounds like you had a great weekend, and that you are very happy with your life right now. Good for you. Glad things are going well. = )
