Our bikes were done early! I got new tubes, brake pads and brake line with a tune-up. B's bike just had a tune up and we were ready to rock. My friend dropped us off at Eddy's Bike Shop and we rode the 7 miles home. We were feeling great and decided that we would go for another bike ride in a few hours. What a pain in the ass that was! Literally!
Our butts have finally gotten used to the beating and are now a bit tougher. We are riding every where we can. The 2 days that he's been to work (well, 3, but one day was overtime and he was already there), he rode his bike. On Tuesday I rode halfway there with him and back home before work. I met him halfway home yesterday and we took off and I finished with 10.15 and he finished with 11.15. Today I rode all the way to the station with him and home, giving me about 12 miles. It's generally down hill there with a few ups. The house just sits on higher ground meaning I did a lot of up hill this morning. It's much easier now than it was last week!
I need to make more time for my running. We've had the bikes back for a week and have probably put nearly 90-100 miles on them. My legs are HUGE with muscle, and I'm noticing that I'm firming up all over. I am trying to get into a new routine with running in the mornings before work. I'm thinking of busting out a run today since I'm home alone and need something to fill the void. I'm sure Nora would love to run since she hasn't gone the past few times.
Well. I have a lot of cleaning to do right now, so I guess it's time I go. If I don't update for a while, that just means I'm out running, riding or walking. I've put more miles on my body than I have with my car. Which reminds me... I have 2 payments left before it goes back to the dealer. I sure can't wait until that financial burden is off of my back! Ok. Enough rambling... I'm hungry!

Wow! Way to rack up those bike miles! Sounds like you two are getting a lot of good use out of them. Mine hasn't moved from the garage in over 3 years. Good luck with the morning runs-if you can get yourself out of bed, you can do it!
Holy COW!!! Lol, my garage sale netted me, $9...hahaha...! Congrats! :D
Way to go on all the biking!Fantastic!
